Lotto wins the gold medal together with the new World Water Ski Slalom Champion Thomas Degasperi
Brilliant success for the Lotto testimonial Thomas Degasperi who became the new World Water Ski Slalom Champion at the 32nd edition of the World Waterski Championship in Dubna on Volga river, 120 km from Moscow, last Sunday, 24th July.
The final was enthralling and Thomas was extraordinary during his race skiing in to the first place with a score of 3 buoys on the 10.25m line (record of the competition). With such a score, none of his opponents could keep with the Italian athlete who won the gold medal, after having taken the gold and silver medals in past World Championships (respectively, in 2007 and 2009).
Thomas has chosen Lotto Running and Active products for his training sessions “outside water”, which are more than half of his training, with specific running and gym sessions. Thanks to his great achievements and to his special charm, he managed to capture media attention and got covers on several magazine even before this brilliant result.
